We’ve been based out of 12-A in the Mahesh Industrial Estate for quite a while now. If you know Kashimira Road in Mira Road East, you know it gets pretty packed with traffic during the morning hours. Our workshop isn't anything fancy, just a solid space where we get the engineering work done. Most of us have been working together here for years, so we have a routine down. We usually start the day with some tea and then get straight to the machines. The estate itself is always humming with noise from the other units, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a practical place to work, really. We don't have a big front office or anything like that because most of our time is spent on the floor dealing with metal and designs. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the back door when it’s heavy, but we just put a bucket there and keep moving. It’s just how things go in an industrial area. People come and go, deliveries arrive, and we just focus on finishing whatever is on the bench for that day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We keep things simple and try to stay out of the way of the main road traffic when we head home in the evening. That’s pretty much the daily life for us here at Flexon.
