Chow'S Yummy Food Point

Chow'S Yummy Food Point is a little spot located at A/3 on Mira Road. We started this place because we liked the idea of having a small corner where people could get a quick bite without spending too much. It’s not a big restaurant. We have a few stools and a counter where we prep everything. The kitchen is usually steaming up the windows when we are busy. We use recipes that have been passed around our families for a long time. They aren't written down in a book; we just know them by heart. Sometimes we might use a bit more salt or spice one day than the next, but that’s just how home cooking goes. People in the Mira Road area know us by now. They stop by on their way home from the station or during their lunch breaks. We see a lot of the same faces every day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the sign outside is a little faded from the sun, but it doesn't stop people from coming in. We keep things honest and simple. There isn't any complicated stuff here. Just us in the back cooking and serving whatever is fresh that day. It’s a small life, but we enjoy the talk and the people. Sometimes we stay open late if there's a crowd, other times we close early if we run out.
