Ganesh Catering Services operates out of Bhayander East, specifically in A/201. It’s a residential setup, so it feels more like a big home kitchen than a factory. This all started because everyone said the food we made for family lunches was actually good. Nowadays, we spend our days prepping vegetables and making sure the stoves are working. The apartment gets really warm when all the burners are going, so we usually have the windows wide open to catch whatever breeze comes through. We aren't a massive company with uniforms and a fleet of trucks. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers who come in when we have a big order to fill. Our focus is on the local area because it’s easier to transport the food while it’s still hot. If you come by A/201, you'll probably hear the sound of knives hitting cutting boards or the pressure cooker whistling. Our recipes stay simple, just like how we cook for ourselves at home. Sometimes we run out of space for all the big containers, so they end up sitting in the hallway for a bit while we load the van. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but we make it work somehow. We don't do much advertising; we just rely on people liking what they ate at their neighbor's house. It’s a simple life, mostly spent thinking about salt and oil and delivery times. We just want the food to be right.
