Shetye Caterers

We are situated up in Altinho, right by the Circuit House in Panaji. It’s a nice, quiet part of town compared to the market area down below. Being near the Circuit House means it's easy for people to explain where we are. We've been operating out of here for a while. Our day starts early, usually before the sun is even fully up. There's a lot of prep work in catering that people don't see. We do mostly local events. Weddings, parties, even some small office lunches. We don't have a big glossy brochure or anything. People usually just find out about us from their neighbors or relatives. The kitchen is always busy with someone stirring a big pot. We keep it simple. Good ingredients and the usual spices we all grew up with. Sometimes we have to carry heavy pots and crates up and down, but that's just the nature of the business. Panaji is a small place really, once you know your way around. Altinho is a bit of a climb but the air is better up here. We don't bother with fancy titles or anything. We're just the folks who make the food. It’s hard work, especially when it’s humid. But we’ve got a good routine down now. We just want to make sure the food tastes right and arrives on time. That's about it for us. We don't look for fame, just happy guests at the parties we serve. It's been like this for years.
