Goan Wale Food Products is located out in Saheri, and if you aren’t looking for it, you might miss the turn entirely. We share the space with Ravi Singh’s place, and it’s a fairly simple setup without any big signs or fancy lights. Being out in the Gram Saheri area means things move a little slower than they do in the coastal towns, which is fine by us. We spend most of our days dealing with different food products, checking the batches, and making sure the packaging is right. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a longer break when the sun is at its peak. The office part is just a desk with a lot of papers and some samples sitting around. It’s a local business, through and through. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation with a glass building. We just want to get the food out to where it needs to go. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact gate, so one of us usually has to walk out to the road to wave them in. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over twice. We’ve got a small team, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. It’s just how we operate day to day in this part of the country.
