V.S. Enterprises

V.S. Enterprises is our small unit at A-53, Gali Number 1, right on the 100 Ft. Road in Kabir Nagar. If you’re coming through Shahdra, you’ll probably see the sign. It’s a very busy part of town. There is always a lot of dust from the road and the sound of horns blowing. We’ve been in this space for a good while. The space is tight, so we have to be careful how we stack our stock. We’ve got shelves going all the way up to the ceiling. Every morning we sweep the front step, but by noon it’s covered in grit again. We don't mind it much. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly stuff that people in the neighborhood need for their own small businesses. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door helps them out. Sometimes the phone rings and rings while we are busy in the back, but we get to it eventually. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop working long enough to do it. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay out of the midday heat. It’s a simple setup. We just want to get through the orders and make sure the count is right before we close up for the night. It is what it is.
