Sanwara Overseas

We've been at 4786, Gali No. 10 for quite a while now. Shahdara is always busy, and our spot in Balweer Nagar Extn. is no different. It gets a bit crowded in the morning when people are moving around, but we manage. Sanwara Overseas started out small here. Most of us grew up around this area, so we know the neighbors pretty well. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly boxes and desks piled with papers. We spend our days making sure orders get out. Sometimes the traffic in the narrow lanes makes it hard for the delivery trucks to pull up, so we end up carrying things to the main road ourselves. It keeps us active, I guess. We deal with overseas stuff, which means a lot of checking and re-checking forms. It can get tedious, especially when the internet acts up. Our team is just a few local guys who know how things work. We drink a lot of tea while we sort out the logistics. It’s a lot of manual work and phone calls. Usually, by the time we close up, the street is finally quiet. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It's just this place in Gali 10 where we've put in all our time. We keep the doors open and just get through the daily tasks one by one.
