Our place is at 156-A, Gali No. 12, on Shiv Mandir Marg. We are tucked away in Moujpur, which is a busy part of Shahdara. The gali is narrow, so we see everyone who walks by our door. We have been operating from this small office for quite some time now. It is just a few rooms where we handle our business affairs and keep some of our inventory. Outside, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—kids playing, scooters zipping past, and the bells from the temple nearby. We do not have a big sign or a fancy lobby. It is just a regular building where we do our daily work. Most of our neighbors are also running small businesses or living their lives, so it feels very local and friendly. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons dealing with suppliers. The space is filled with files and some samples of the products we handle. It gets a bit dusty because the road is always busy, but we try to keep it tidy. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around just to fit a new shipment in. It is not a corporate environment at all; it is more like working from a second home. We know the people on the street and they know us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. There is always something to sort out or someone to call.
