Our shop is at C-44/15, Lane No.12/2 in Chouhan Banger. It’s a tight spot, and if you’re driving a big car, you’re going to have a hard time getting through the lane. We spend most of our time surrounded by fabric. It’s everywhere—on the tables, on the floor, and stacked up to the ceiling in some corners. We don’t really bother with decorating the place because it just gets covered in lint anyway. The light isn't great in the back, so we have these big overhead lamps that make it quite hot during the summer months. We just open the windows and hope for a breeze. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing. One person handles the cutting, another does the counting, and someone else is always on the phone trying to find out where the delivery went. It’s a bit chaotic when the sun is out and the customers are pushing to get their stuff early. We don't have fancy titles or anything. Everyone just chips in where they can. If the floor needs sweeping, whoever is free grabs the broom. It’s just how we do things here, keeping it simple and making sure the work gets finished before it gets too dark to see properly. Tomorrow will be exactly the same, but that is fine with us.
