Una & Company

We have been sitting here at A-64/5 in the G T Karnal Road Industrial Area for quite a few years now. The morning usually starts with the sound of trucks backing up and the neighbor’s shutters opening up. It is a busy place, mostly dusty because of all the construction and the traffic coming off the main road. Our space isn't fancy or anything. There are boxes stacked up in the corner and the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise when it’s on high, but it gets the job done. People come in and out all day long. Sometimes they stay for a glass of water and a chat about the weather or how the road is blocked again. We just do our work and try to keep things moving. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really found the time to clear everything out to do it. It’s mostly just us three working here every day. We know most of the other shop owners around this block. If someone needs a tool or a bit of help, we usually just walk over. It is more about getting through the day and making sure the orders are ready when they should be. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open up at nine, keep our heads down, and head home when the sun goes down.
