Shree G International

If you have ever tried to find 208 on the second floor near Lal Darwaza, you know it’s a bit of a maze. Shree G International is right in the middle of Sirkiwalan in Hauz Qazi. Chawri Bazar is always moving, and we are right there in the thick of it. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and there is always someone shouting about a rickshaw blocking the way. Our space isn't huge, but it's where we manage everything. We deal with a lot of different items, mostly sourcing things for people who need them. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of our day is spent checking stock or making sure the transport guys know where they are going. You have to be patient to work in this part of Delhi. Sometimes the power goes out, or the stairs feel steeper than they did yesterday, but we just get on with it. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors all know us. We don’t have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. It’s just a workplace where we try to keep our head down and do the job right. It’s practical work for practical people. Usually, there’s a stack of invoices on the desk and a cup of tea getting cold. That is basically our life here in the market. We don't need a lot of polish to do what we do. We just keep the wheels turning every single day.
