You’ll find us at 119 in the SMA Industrial Estate Area, just off GT Karnal Road. The area is heavy with industry, and the roads are usually full of big trucks and tempos. We make ties and textile products here. The building is a bit old, and you can hear the hum of the machines from the street. Inside, it’s full of fabric rolls and thread. There’s color everywhere, which is a nice change from the gray industrial surroundings outside. It’s a dusty place because of the fabric lint, so we’re always sweeping up. GT Karnal Road is notorious for traffic jams, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle. Once we’re inside, though, it’s just about getting the production lines running. We don’t have a fancy showroom; if you want to see what we do, you just walk onto the floor where the work is happening. It’s a loud, busy environment, and the workers are always moving around. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t mind the noise anymore. It’s a practical business. We focus on the cutting and the stitching, making sure the patterns look right. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, everyone is ready to head home. We just take it one order at a time and try to keep the machines in good shape. It’s a bit hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going.
