Shri Ganesh Impex

You can find us at 2117/1 in Chah Indara Sona Bazar. We are right behind Jublee Cinema, which makes it a bit easier to explain to people who don't know Bhagirath Palace well. Shri Ganesh Impex is basically just a small shop tucked into one of these busy lanes. It is always crowded outside with people pushing carts and delivery guys running around. Inside, it’s a bit more manageable, though we have goods stacked up everywhere. We deal with trading and it keeps us on our feet all day. There’s no air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all summer. We’ve seen many shops come and go in this market, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don’t have a corporate office with fancy glass doors. It’s just a place where we do business face to face. Sometimes the noise from the cinema or the street is a lot, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our neighbors are mostly other traders, and we all know each other. We spend a lot of time talking to customers and writing out receipts by hand. It’s not a high-tech operation, just honest work. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to get the orders right and keep the shelves stocked. If you come by, we’ll probably offer you a cup of chai while we talk and look through the ledger books together.
