Kapoor Electric Mart

We are located at 1567, Bhagirath Palace, right in the heart of Chandni Chowk. If you know Delhi, you know that Bhagirath Palace is the place to go for anything electric. Kapoor Electric Mart has been a part of this crowded, energetic market for years. The shop is small and packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of electrical goods. It’s a bit of a maze getting here through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi, but that’s just part of the experience. Wires, switches, and bulbs surround us all day. It’s a noisy environment with the sounds of carts being pushed and people bargaining outside. We don't have a big fancy office; our desk is usually covered with invoices and a glass of chai. Most of our customers are electricians or people who have been coming to us for decades. We don't do any big advertising because word of mouth in a place like this is everything. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the shelves are a bit dusty, but we know exactly where everything is. It’s a hardworking life in a very old part of the city. We open the shop early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There isn't much more to it than that. We just focus on our trade and the people who walk through our door for help.
