Merina Light House

Merina Light House is tucked away in Shop No 2098/10 inside the Atma Ram Market. This is right in the heart of Chah Indrara at Bhagirath Palace. If you have ever been to this market in Delhi, you know it is one of the busiest places on earth. There are wires and lights everywhere you look. Our shop is small, like most of the others in Atma Ram Market, but we have it packed from floor to ceiling. It can be hard to find us if you don't know the shop number, as the lanes are like a maze and everyone is calling out to you. We spend our days dealing with customers who are looking for very specific things. The noise of the market never really stops until late at night. We have been here through many seasons, watching the market change and grow even more crowded. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just use flashlights until it comes back on. It is a hot and cramped place to work, but there is a lot of energy in the air. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking in or calling us up. It is a very traditional way of doing business. We know our regulars and we know where every single bulb is kept in our little shop. It is just a small place in a big city.
