S S Mittal

Our office is located at 450 in the Western Wings of Tis Hazari. If you’ve ever been to the courts here, you know how busy and confusing the corridors can be. It’s a maze of different offices and people rushing around with files under their arms. We’ve been tucked away in this corner for many years now. The space is filled with stacks of papers, old wooden desks, and a lot of law books that have seen better days. It’s not the kind of place that looks like those offices you see on television. It’s a bit dusty, and the ceiling fans make a bit of a clicking sound when they’re on high speed. We spend most of our time dealing with clients and trying to keep track of all the different cases and filings. S S Mittal started this practice, and we just keep the wheels turning day after day. We don't really have a lobby, so people just sit on whatever chairs are free while they wait. The tea guy comes around a couple of times a day, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. It’s a lot of reading and writing and talking to people who are often quite stressed out. We just try to provide a steady hand and get the documents processed through the system as best we can. It’s a very busy, very old-fashioned way of working.
