Ramkishan

I’m Ramkishan and I stay at K 543 on Kushak Road Number 2. This is in Swaroop Nagar, which is right in the northern part of Delhi. It’s a pretty packed residential area, and the streets can be a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here and don't know the turns. I’ve been working from this address for a long time. It’s not a store with a big glass window or anything like that, just a place where I get my daily work done. People in the 110042 area usually know the landmarks nearby, so they don't have much trouble finding me. I don't really do much advertising because most of my work comes from neighbors and people I already know from the area. I spend my mornings getting everything ready and then I work through the afternoon until it gets dark. The room I work in is small and it gets quite hot in the summer months, but I have a small fan that keeps the air moving enough to be comfortable. I think it’s important to just be reliable for the people who count on you. If I say I’ll do something by Tuesday, I do my best to have it ready. I don't have a big mission or some grand plan. I just want to do my job well and go home to my family. Swaroop Nagar is a working-class neighborhood, and that suits my way of life just fine. We all just try to get by.
