Evergreen Exports

We have been running Evergreen Exports out of Hamilton Road for a long time now. If you know the Kashmere Gate area, you know how busy it gets around here. Our office is at No. 2641, and honestly, it is usually full of paperwork and samples. Most days are spent talking to vendors or making sure things get packed right so they can head out. It is not a fancy setup at all. There are a few desks and way too many coffee mugs lying around. Some weeks are quieter than others, but mostly it is just us trying to keep up with the shipping schedules. People come by to drop off documents or just to check on their stuff. Keeping things organized is the goal, though sometimes the piles of invoices get a bit high. It is a local operation, nothing corporate about it. Every morning we show up, open the shutters, and get to work on whatever needs sending out that day. Hamilton Road is a good spot for us because everyone knows where it is. A lot of the job is the back-and-forth that comes with moving goods from one place to another. It takes a lot of patience. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather is not helping, but that is just how it goes in this business. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know the routine. The neighborhood is loud and full of traffic, but it keeps us on our toes.
