Prashant Singh Tanwar

I’m Prashant Singh Tanwar and my place of work is at 3891 Chawri Bazar, specifically on Churiwalan Sarak. If you know Old Delhi, you know how crowded and tight these lanes can be. Chawri Bazar is always buzzing with people, carts, and rickshaws, and our spot is right in the middle of all that energy. It’s an old building, like most things around here, and it has that specific smell of old paper and dust that you find in this part of town. I’ve been working out of this space for quite a while now. It’s not a big modern office with glass walls. Instead, it’s a small, functional room where we handle our business every day. There are wires hanging outside and the stairs are a bit steep and narrow. You have to be careful when you're coming up. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know how things run. We spend our time dealing with orders and talking to the people who stop by. Sometimes it gets so loud outside that we have to shout to be heard over the noise of the market. But I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. There's a history to this area that you don't get in the newer parts of the city. We just do our work, drink some tea, and keep the business moving along as best we can. It’s a long day, but being here in the heart of the bazaar feels right.
