Mayank Overseas

Working out of 5657-A in Gandhi Market means things are always moving fast. Sadar Bazar is a crowded place, and Mayank Overseas is right in the middle of all that noise. We spend most of our mornings unpacking boxes and checking what came in the night before. The space isn't huge, so things get stacked pretty high. You learn to navigate the narrow aisles without knocking anything over after a few weeks. We deal with a lot of different items and it can get a bit disorganized during the peak hours. If the phone is ringing and three people are asking questions at once, we just handle it one by one. It’s a regular trading business. We don't have fancy carpets or a reception area. There is just a desk, some chairs, and lots of inventory. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, but we’ve gotten used to that. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out lists. We’ve been at this spot for a while and the neighbors know us well. We just try to get the orders right and keep the stock moving. It's a lot of physical work, lifting crates and moving stuff around the shop floor. That is basically life for us here in the market. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as it comes.
