We are located at 2312, Turkman Gate, which is a place with a lot of history. Being near the Do Bhai Hotel makes us easy to find if you’re wandering through this part of the city. Holy India Art is where we spend our days surrounded by different kinds of crafts and pieces. It’s not a sterile gallery or anything like that. It’s more like a busy studio where things are being moved around all the time. There is usually a bit of paint or wood shavings on the floor. We don't have a lot of space, so things are often stacked quite high. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we’ve been around Turkman Gate for a long time. The street outside is always full of life, with vendors and people talking loudly. Inside, we just focus on the art. We aren't trying to be high-end or exclusive. We just like making things and showing them to whoever comes by. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when the weather is nice and talk to the neighbors. It’s a very traditional way of working. We don't use much technology besides a phone to take orders. Everything else is done by hand or with old tools that have been in the shop forever. It’s just a quiet life of making art in an old part of town.
