Creative Handicrafts

We run Creative Handicrafts from Plot No. 4 in the G Block of Qutub Vihar, near Goyla Dairy. It’s a bit of an out-of-the-way spot, but we like it that way because it gives us the space we need to work on our projects. We make a lot of different things by hand here. The workshop is always full of materials like wood, fabric, and clay. It’s messy, but it’s a creative kind of mess. We started this because we wanted to make things that felt real and not just factory-made. There are only a few of us working here at Plot No. 4. We don't have a big showroom, so most people who buy from us either know us personally or find us through word of mouth. Goyla Dairy is a landmark people use to find our turn-off. The area is growing, but it still feels a bit rural which is nice for our line of work. We spend our days cutting, sewing, and painting. Sometimes we stay late when we have a big order to finish. We don't use fancy machines for everything; we still do a lot of it the old-fashioned way. It’s not the fastest way to work, but we think it turns out better. We’re just a small group of people doing what we enjoy in Qutub Vihar. It's a good way to spend our time and we hope to stay here for a long time.
