Bahadur Chand Krishan Lal

We are located at F-14 in the S N Market area of Kamla Nagar, right on G B Road. This part of the city is always moving and there is never a quiet moment outside our door. Bahadur Chand Krishan Lal has been a name around here for quite a while now. The shop itself is packed with all sorts of things and we have to use every bit of shelf space we have, even the high ones where we need a ladder to reach. We start our day early to beat the worst of the heat, though it never really stays cool for long once the sun is up. There is a lot of paperwork to deal with, mostly just old-style ledgers where we write down what people owe and what we bought. We have a lot of regular faces who have been coming to us for years, so we end up chatting a lot about the weather or the local news. The floor is made of old stone and it has worn down in the spots where people stand the most. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. Most people know where we are just by the shop number or by seeing us sitting there. It is a lot of manual labor, moving boxes and counting items, but it is the life we know and we just keep at it every day.
