Babu Gole Wala

If you go to Sadar Bazar and look for Khurshid Market, you will find us at number 58. The name is Babu Gole Wala. We’ve been serving gole to the people here for a long time. It’s a small space, more of a narrow stall really, but it’s ours. Sadar Bazar is always packed with people and it’s very loud with everyone shouting. We are right in the middle of all that chaos at shop 58. We have our ice blocks and the different colorful syrups lined up on the shelf. It’s nothing fancy, just a wooden counter and some small benches if there is any space left to sit. We don’t have a big marketing plan or advertisements. We just make the gole and hand them to the people who walk by. In the summer, it gets very crowded and we have to work very fast to keep up. Sometimes we run out of ice or a certain fruit flavor, and we just tell people to come back later. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot in Khurshid Market. People know us from the way we work and the taste of our syrups. The area is old and the buildings are very close together. We like being part of the market life. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don’t use any of those catchy slogans to get attention. We just give you what you asked for and that's it. It’s a simple life at Babu Gole Wala every day.
