We are tucked away in Haveli Hader Quli, which is right in the middle of Chandni Chowk. You have to walk through some very narrow lanes to find us at number 453. This old haveli has been here for a very long time, and you can feel it in the walls. It’s a bit dusty and the air feels different than it does out on the main road. We keep all kinds of old crafts and items here. It’s not organized like a modern store at all. Things are piled up where they fit. Chandni Chowk is a mess of people and carts, but once you step inside the haveli, things get a little quieter. We spend our time looking at these old pieces and moving them around. Sometimes we find something we forgot we had in a dark corner. It’s a lot of work keeping everything clean because the city dust finds its way through every crack. The light comes in through the old courtyards in a nice way during the afternoon. We don’t have fancy displays. We just have the items themselves. People who come here usually know what they are looking for or they just enjoy wandering through the old rooms. It’s a strange place to work sometimes, but it’s got a lot of character that you won't find in a new building. It takes some time to get used to the pace here, but it's okay.
