You can find Amin Handicrafts right at No. 1569 in the Pahari Bhojla area, near Turkman Gate. It’s an old part of the city, and our place has been here for a long time. We work on different kinds of handicrafts. The space is filled with tools and materials, and it usually smells like wood or whatever we are working on that day. It's not a showroom; it's more of a workshop where things actually get made. The streets around here are narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze to get through, but that’s just the charm of the area. We have a few people working here who have been with us for years. They know their craft well. We don’t really advertise much because we stay busy with the orders we already have. Sometimes people stop by just to see what we are making. It’s a bit dusty in here, but you can’t really help that when you’re making things by hand. The light isn't always great, but we make do. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it feels right and we know all the neighbors. It’s a simple way of living and working. We just keep our heads down and focus on making things that look good and last. It’s a lot of hours on our feet, but it’s what we’ve always done here at Turkman Gate. It’s a quiet life, mostly spent focused on the work.
