Amba Prasad Co

Amba Prasad Co is located right in Hauz Qazi Bazar, specifically in Sirkiwalan 5000. It’s usually pretty loud around here with the crowds and the rickshaws passing by every minute. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. Most days are just spent sorting through things and talking to the people who walk in from the street. It’s an old part of town so you see all sorts of folks passing through the bazaar. Sirkiwalan is a busy stretch and being at number 5000 means we get our fair share of dust and noise. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but that is just how things go around here. We’ve got a small space but it works for what we do. My desk is usually covered in papers and some tea cups from earlier in the morning. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. Just a regular spot where we get our work done day after day. If you are walking through the market you might miss us if you aren't looking closely at the signs. It gets hot in the summer and we have a small fan that tries its best. It's just life in Hauz Qazi. People know where to find us when they need something specific. We don't do much differently than anyone else on the street.
