Al-Farhan Handicrafts is tucked away at 2192, Pahari Bhojla near Turkman Gate. It’s a busy part of town, always sounds of the city outside. We work on a lot of different handmade items here. We spend most of our day focused on the details of whatever piece is on the bench. It’s quiet work in a loud neighborhood. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade. We make sure the orders get out on time, even when the power goes out or the narrow lanes get blocked up. It's practical work. We don't spend time on fancy websites or big speeches.
