You can find Ajit Nath Handicrafts right in the middle of Sadar Bazar. We’re on the first floor at 5236, Main Bara Tooti Chowk, along Sadar Thana Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how hectic it gets. There’s always someone shouting, carts being pushed, and heaps of stuff everywhere. Our shop is tucked away upstairs, which helps a bit with the noise from the street. We’ve been working with handicrafts for a long time. It’s what we know. Our space is filled with all sorts of items we’ve gathered or made. It’s not very organized, to be honest. There are boxes stacked in corners and things hanging from the walls. But we know what we have and where it is. We spend our days talking to suppliers and showing things to people who drop by. It’s a busy life, especially during the festival seasons when everyone is looking for something special. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on being here and doing what we do. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep and narrow, but people still come up to see what’s new. It’s a traditional way of doing business in a very traditional market. We’re just glad to be a part of it and keep the work going.
