You can find us at WP 501 on the first floor in Shiv Market. It’s pretty close to Deep Market and right near the police station here in Ashok Vihar. Being on the first floor means we see a lot of the street hustle from our window. The shop isn't massive but we make it work. We have fabrics and decor items tucked into the corners. Most of our time is spent looking at different patterns and talking to people about what they want for their living rooms. It gets a bit noisy outside because of the market traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of us working or the sewing machine going. We started this place because we liked working with our hands. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just have a few desks and a lot of shelves filled with stuff we’ve collected over the months. Sometimes we forget to tidy up the fabric scraps, so there’s usually something colorful on the floor. People from around the neighborhood stop in after they finish their grocery shopping at Deep Market. We don't use fancy software; a lot of our planning is done on pieces of paper or right on the walls. It’s a simple way of working. We just want to help people get their houses looking okay without making a huge fuss about it. It’s a practical little spot in a busy part of Delhi.
