Shibam Enterprises

We have been here at Ambika Mukherjee Road for a good while now. Shibam Enterprises started out small, and honestly, we are still just a small group of people trying to keep things running properly. Living and working in Kadamtala is a bit of a mix. Sometimes the road gets really crowded, especially near the Ghola police station area, but we manage. Most days start with opening the shutters and checking what needs to be done. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just us here in the Natagarh post office area doing our bit. People stop by, sometimes just to ask for directions or chat for a minute. That’s how it is in this part of the district. The weather gets quite hot in the summers, which makes work a little slow in the afternoons, but we pick up the pace later. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves. My cousin helps out when things get busy. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about where we are located on this road. It feels good to be part of the local community here. We just try to be honest with our work and make sure whatever we do is solid. It’s not a corporate life, it’s just our life here. We hope to stay here for many more years as things change around us. It is a simple existence.
