Birla Corporation Ltd ( Cement Division)

Our Birla Corporation Ltd Cement Division office is over in Salt Lake City at FD-163. We are on the first floor, which is nice because we don't have to wait for the lift. Salt Lake is a bit quieter and more organized than the rest of Kolkata, so the Sector-3 area feels almost peaceful sometimes. Abhijit Dasgupta and the rest of us work here, keeping things moving for the cement side of the company. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space with desks and some computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the plants or checking on where the trucks are. Being in 700106 means we are surrounded by houses and other small offices, so it feels very residential. We have our tea breaks out on the balcony sometimes when the weather isn't too humid. It’s a simple life here. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the loudest office in West Bengal. We just want to make sure the orders are processed and the paperwork is clean. People come by sometimes to drop off documents, and we usually have a quick word before they go. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs every day. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up and do what’s required.
