Maa Shitala Cement Centre

Maa Shitala Cement Centre is located in Italgacha, near the Airport Gate area. We are in the Ultra Tech building at Majumder Para, number 2. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming in and out quite a bit throughout the day. Dealing with cement means everything is usually covered in a thin layer of grey dust, no matter how much we sweep the floors. We have been here for a while, supplying to the local builders and people fixing up their own houses. The shop isn't fancy at all. It’s a sturdy place where we keep the bags stacked high and dry. We have to be careful about the rain, so we’re always checking the roof for leaks when the clouds get dark. We aren't some big corporation with fancy offices, just a local center where people come to get what they need for construction. Usually, there’s a lot of shouting back and forth with the loaders and the drivers outside. It’s loud and it’s heavy work, but we like it. We don't use any slick sales talk or marketing gimmicks here. You come in, you tell us how many bags you need, and we figure out how to get them to your site. The paperwork is mostly hand-written in books that sit on the main desk. We know the regulars by name and they know they can find us here from early morning until late evening.
