New Sun Brick Work

New Sun Brick Work is based in the village of Rahanda. We are under the Madyamgram police station area. It is a small place but we keep ourselves very busy. The name New Sun comes from the idea of starting fresh every morning when the sun comes up over the fields. We do everything by hand mostly. From mixing the mud to stacking the finished bricks for the trucks. It is a tough job and your clothes are always stained with red dust. We don't have fancy machinery to do the work for us. We rely on our own strength and the people from the village who work with us. Rahanda is a quiet spot, and we like it that way. We are far enough from the main city noise but close enough to Madyamgram that we can get what we need. People come to us when they are building something new in the district. We don't promise anything crazy, we just show them what we have in the yard. If the sun is out, we are working. If it’s raining, we are under the sheds waiting for it to pass. It is a simple life and we don't ask for much more than a good day’s work and a bit of rest at the end of it. We have been here for years and we plan to stay for many more.
