You can find our Lafarge India office at Kamala Smriti, which is right near the Subhas Club in the Nabapally area. We’re located in the North 24 Parganas district with the pin code 700126. It’s a fairly local spot, not tucked away in some big business park. We like being near the club because it’s a landmark everyone knows. The office itself is quite simple. We have our records, some basic furniture, and a lot of paperwork regarding cement deliveries for West Bengal. It’s a busy place during the mornings when the orders are being processed. We don't use any fancy language or have big meetings; we just talk to the people who need building materials and figure out how to get it to them. The humidity can be a lot sometimes, but we just keep the fans going. It’s the kind of office where you might find a stray cat wandering near the door or hear the sounds of the neighborhood drifting in. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just make sure the local builders have what they need for their projects. Most of us live nearby, so we know the shortcuts and the best times to avoid the traffic. It’s just a regular part of the community, helping keep the construction side of things moving along steadily. We just show up every day, drink our tea, and handle the manifests until the work is finished.
