Acc Ltd.

Our office is tucked away in New Basti, over in Titagarh. It’s under the North 24 Parganas district. The address is 40A, and it’s been the same for a very long time. Acc Ltd. is the name on the records, but we feel more like a small neighborhood spot. During the monsoon, the rain hits the roof so loud we can barely hear the phone. Kolkata weather is always a bit unpredictable like that. We don't have a big receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. It’s just a couple of rooms with filing cabinets and a few desks that have seen better days. We get our work done without much fuss. Most people who come here are regulars who have been dealing with us for years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished flyers. It's just honest, everyday business. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and other days we manage to leave early if the work is light. The local chai wallah knows our order by heart. It’s a bit old-fashioned here, honestly. We still use a lot of paper instead of doing everything on the screen. It works for us and we don't see much reason to change it. We just keep moving along, one day at a time, right here in the Basti.
