Our address is care of Sarathi Saha in Khardaha, West Bengal. It’s a simple setup in a residential neighborhood, far from the big corporate towers of Kolkata. We use this spot as a base for some of our local coordination and record keeping. Khardaha has a very specific feel to it, being near the river and having those narrow, winding streets that we walk every day. We don't have a big office sign or a logo outside. It’s more of a home-office environment where we keep our records and handle the local bits of business that come our way. Most people around here just know us as neighbors who happen to work in cement. We handle the paperwork for the company without making much of a fuss about it. The pace is a bit slower than the main city, which suits us just fine for the kind of work we do. We spend our mornings checking files and our afternoons talking to vendors or local drivers. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a marketing team or a sales presentation. It’s just us, sitting at plain wooden desks, making sure the local supply chain stays on track. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the monsoon rains make the street hard to cross, but we keep at it. We’ve been at this Khardaha location for a bit now, and it works well for reaching the northern suburbs. We just do the work expected of us.
