We are tucked away on Mathpara Road in the Dangapara area of Rahara. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center of Kolkata, but we like it here. The office isn't much to look at, just a regular building where we handle the paperwork for the cement deliveries. It gets pretty humid in the monsoon, and the walls show it, but we keep the files dry. Mostly, we spend our time coordinating with the transporters. There’s a lot of back and forth on the phone. We’ve got a small team. Everyone knows their job. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed. It’s part of the business. The neighbors are mostly families, so it’s a quiet street until the trucks show up. We try to be quick so we don't block the road for too long. There isn't any fancy corporate stuff here. Just a few desks and a water cooler that makes a loud noise every time someone uses it. We’ve been in this West Bengal spot for quite a while. Most people in the local building trade know to find us here. We don't do much advertising, just word of mouth and being around when someone needs a supply. It’s a simple setup. We just focus on getting the bags where they need to go without too much fuss or trouble.
