Navajyothi High School

Navajyothi High School is located along the Kamareddy Road here in Mustabad. It is easy to find if you are heading through this part of town. The school has a decent-sized gate and some old trees that have been growing here since I can remember. We have students coming in from all over the Mustabad area, some walking and others arriving on their parents' scooters. The high school years are always busy ones. There is always someone running late or someone forgot their lunchbox in the morning rush. The classrooms are basic with wooden benches and plenty of chalk dust on the floors. We have a playground that gets quite a lot of use, even if the grass isn't always as green as it could be. During the summer, it gets quite warm, so we keep the ceiling fans going as much as we can. It is a local place, and we do not try to be anything else. The focus is always on the books and the exams. You will find us here most days from early morning until the late afternoon sun hits the front of the building. It is just a normal school life on Kamareddy Road. We see the same faces every day, and that is how we like it. The walls are a bit faded, but the atmosphere is generally pretty good for the kids who come here.
