Raghava High School

Our school, Raghava High School, is situated right off the Hyderabad Road in Vinayak Nagar. We are specifically down Baswa Garden Lane. If you know Nizamabad, you know that area can get pretty busy with all the cars and bikes going toward the main road. The lane itself is a bit quieter, which is nice for the classrooms so we don't hear as much honking. We have a mix of old and new parts of the building. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. The stairs are narrow, and the walls have some old posters the students made years ago. We don't spend much on fancy decorations. Most of our day is spent just making sure the schedule is followed properly. The teachers come in early, usually complaining about the traffic on the main road, and we get the day started with an assembly. We have a small yard where the students gather. It’s nothing special, just some dirt and a couple of trees that provide a little bit of shade during the hot summer months. You can hear the city noises all day, but we’ve gotten used to it after all these years. It’s a practical place. We don’t make big promises or use fancy words, we just provide a place for local kids to go to school. It’s a lot of routine and regular work, day in and day out, just like any other place.
