This school is tucked away in the Kotagalli area of Nizamabad. It is a residential school for girls, and it has been part of the community here for quite some time. The building at Kotagalli is older, with thick walls that keep things a little cooler when the sun is beating down on Nizamabad. Life here follows a very set pattern. The girls wake up early, have their meals together, and then head to the classrooms which are just a short walk from the dorms. There is always the sound of someone sweeping the courtyards or the kitchen staff chopping vegetables for lunch. It is not the kind of place you see in brochures; the paint is peeling in some spots and the furniture has seen better days. But it is functional. We have a small yard where the girls sit out in the evenings when the air gets a bit fresher.
