Springfield High School

Springfield High School is tucked away in Kamareddy, with the pin code 503111. It’s a high school, so things are a bit more serious here than at the primary schools. The students are older, and they have a lot of exams and heavy books to worry about. The building is a standard one for this area, with multiple floors and classrooms that look out over the town. You can hear the hum of voices all day long. In the mornings, there’s a rush at the entrance as everyone tries to get in before the first period starts. We have a staff room where the teachers sit and drink tea while they grade papers or talk about the lessons they have to finish. It’s a bit of a mess with all the notebooks piled up on every available surface. Kamareddy is a growing place, and we see more kids coming in every year as the town expands. The desks are sometimes scratched up with names from years ago, and the chalkboards have been washed so many times they’re a bit gray and stained now. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or new technology, just the basic stuff we need to teach the subjects. During the summer, it gets really hot, and the ceiling fans barely do enough to keep everyone cool. It’s just a normal high school life. We deal with the usual teenage drama and the pressure of finishing the syllabus on time. We just carry on day by day.
