Oakridge School

You can find us on Hyderabad Road in the Vinayak Nagar area of Nizamabad. The school sits right there where the road moves towards the main city. It is a decent-sized building with a gate that we keep closed during the day for the safety of the children. We have a mix of younger and older kids attending classes here. The classrooms are arranged along the main corridors, and we have a small yard in the back for physical activities. It is not a very fancy place, but it serves the families living in Nizamabad well enough. We have a few trees near the entrance that give some nice shade to the parked cycles. The teachers arrive early every morning to get the boards ready for the day. We spend most of our time following the regular class schedule. During lunch, the smell of home-cooked food from the tiffin boxes fills the halls. We do not have a big cafeteria, so everyone usually eats at their desks or out in the yard. Sometimes we have small events for the kids, but mostly it is just the daily lessons. We try to keep the noise down so the neighbors are not bothered. The walls are painted a light color, though they could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. It is just a regular school where we try to do our jobs properly.
