Brilliant High School

Brilliant High School here in Chikli, Nizamabad has been around for a while. You can find us right in the heart of the village area. It is a plain building where local kids come to study every morning. Most of the teachers live nearby, so they know the families well. We have a playground that gets quite dusty in the summer, but the children don't seem to mind much. Usually, the day starts with a simple assembly under the shade when it is hot. There are about twelve classrooms now. Each room has wooden desks that have seen better days, but they work. We try to keep things organized, even though it gets noisy during lunch breaks. Parents often stop by the gate to drop off lunch boxes or talk to the staff. It is not a fancy place with big statues or anything like that. Just a regular school where people work hard. We have a small library corner in the main office where students can pick up books. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we open the windows wide for the breeze. The kids in Nizamabad are bright and they enjoy the sports days we have once a year. It feels like a small community here. Most of our former students still wave when they pass by the gate on their way to work. It is just how things go in Chikli and we like it that way.
