Our office is up on the 7th floor, room 701, in the Surya Kiran building at 19 Kasturba Gandhi Marg. It’s a busy street in the middle of the city, and the building is full of all kinds of different companies. We focus on wire ropes and specialized steel products. Even though we are in a high-rise office building, the talk is always about heavy industry and manufacturing. We have samples of wire rope sitting around on the tables and some old photos of big projects on the walls. It’s not a super modern office with fancy gadgets. We have desks that have been here for a while and stacks of files that we still keep on paper. We’ve been in this location for many years now. Most of the day is spent talking to our plants or coordinating with customers who need supplies for things like elevators or cranes. It can get pretty stressful when there’s a deadline, but we just try to stay on top of the orders. The view from the window is nice, but we are usually too busy with the phones to look at it. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing with slogans. We just know our products well and try to answer people’s questions honestly. It’s a regular office job for us, just focused on the steel business. We’ve been part of this building’s history for a long time and just keep going.
