If you head down Janpath Lane, right next to where the Janpath Hotel is, you’ll find us in Thappar House. We’re up on the 3rd floor. It’s an interesting part of Delhi to work in because there is so much history around, but we’re mostly focused on the steel side of things. The office is usually quite full of people talking about shipments and production numbers. Steel is a heavy industry, so even though we’re in a central city office, the conversations are all about manufacturing and construction sites. The building itself has that older feel to it, which is kind of nice compared to the glass boxes you see elsewhere. There’s a lot of back and forth with different departments and sometimes the phone never seems to stop ringing. We get our fair share of visitors too, since the location is so easy to find. Working in Janpath means the lunch options are great, though we often just stick to the office. It’s not a flashy setup; it’s more about desks and meetings and trying to keep everything on schedule. We’ve been in this spot for a while and it’s become a bit of a second home for the staff. You can hear the city noise from the lane, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the business of steel. It’s a lot of coordination to keep things moving across the country, but we just take it one day at a time without overthinking things too much.
