Rehan Steel is located at No. C-28 in Lajpat Nagar. It’s an area where a lot of things are happening, and we fit right in with the industrial side of things. We deal with steel, which means a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around the yard. Most of the time, the guys are busy loading or unloading trucks that come in from the main road. It’s a lot of manual work and it’s definitely not a quiet place to spend the day. We have stacks of different sections and plates all over. It’s organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to someone just walking in. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the material pretty well. If someone needs a specific length of steel, we get it cut. The machinery is old but it works well enough for what we need. Sometimes the crane gives us a bit of trouble on cold mornings. We have a small office where we keep the paperwork, but most of the action happens outside in the open area. It gets quite hot in the summer with all that metal reflecting the sun. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just getting steel to the people who need it for their construction or workshops. It's a straightforward life at C-28. We just try to get the orders loaded up right so the drivers can get on their way without any fuss.
