The Print Shop

If you come down to Naraina Industrial Area Phase 2, you’ll find us at A-29. It’s usually pretty loud inside because the machines are almost always running. We’ve got the smell of ink and paper all over the place, which you get used to after a few days. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just another unit in the block. But inside, we’re usually deep in some project or another. People bring in all sorts of things they need printed, from small flyers to bigger stacks of manuals. We spend a lot of time checking the colors and making sure the paper doesn't jam. It’s a hands-on job. Sometimes we’re here late when there’s a big pile of work that needs to be done by morning. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know how to fix the machines when they act up. Naraina is a bit of a maze, but we’ve been at this spot long enough that most people find us okay. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s our space. We don't use fancy talk about what we do. We just take the files, set up the plates, and run the press. There’s a lot of standing around and waiting for cycles to finish. We keep some tea handy and just get through the day’s list.
