Tajinder Bindra Designs

You can find Tajinder Bindra Designs on the second floor of Bindra Chambers. The building is Gi-12 on Jail Road. It’s a pretty easy place to spot if you are driving by. We have been up here on the second floor for some time now. The space is where all the design thinking happens. We have desks covered in sketches and fabric swatches or whatever project we are currently on. It’s not the most organized looking place, but it’s how we work. Jail Road is always moving, so there is plenty of energy around us. We aren't trying to be some high-end corporate studio. We just like making things and getting the designs right. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the building gets real quiet then. Just the sound of the fans or the street lights outside. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just do the work. The team is small, and we all know each other well. It’s a friendly place to be. We handle the design process from start to finish right here in Bindra Chambers. People come by for meetings and we just sit around the main table and talk it through. It’s a very down-to-earth way of doing things. No one wears a suit here unless they really have to. We just prefer to be comfortable.
