Our place, Surjan Corner, is located over at 92G/1 in Pratap Market. If you know Munirka, you know it’s a crowded area with lots of narrow lanes and people moving about all the time. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. The market has its own rhythm. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start the day. It’s not a huge space, but it fits everything we need to get through the work. Working in Munirka means you get used to the noise and the constant activity of the market. Pratap Market is always full of life, and being at 92G/1 puts us right in the thick of it. We don't spend much time worrying about being fancy. We just focus on what’s in front of us. Most of the people who come by are locals or people who have heard about us from their neighbors. That’s how things work around here. We go by Surjan Corner because that’s what everyone has called us for years. The shop gets a bit dusty with the street traffic, but we try to keep it decent. It’s a simple life, really. We open up, talk to the people who stop by, and finish our tasks. Sometimes the electricity goes out or it gets too hot, but we just deal with it and keep going.
